Recieved March 30th 2009: Dear MBF, I have just re-joined MBF after about 3 years to fill you in about "Captain360" and "Karlla": I joined MaybeFriends about 4 years ago and after meeting some very nice people during the first year, I was still looking for someone special. On 21 May 06, I was contacted by "Karlla". After several exchanges of messages, we agreed to meet, but were having a little difficulty in finding a time that suited us both. I really like the way this girl expressed herself in her mails, and was eager to meet here! Finally at the end of June, we agreed a date, and exchanged phone numbers. We hit it off from the start, and though a little cautious at the beginning, I think we both realised we had found someone special. Early this year we decided to go on a bigger holiday than normal, and visited India. At the end of the first week, sitting on an alcove of the Taj Mahal, I proposed to Karlla - though taken a little by surprise, she of course, accepted! We are now planning to be married sometime next year! Thank you very much to MBF from us both - we never would have met without you!! - Captain360 and Karlla. I had been single for a while going from one disastrous relationship to another. A guy in work recommended Maybefriends to me. He had another friend who had met someone through the site adn I know someone else who had 2 other friends who had met people through the site. I was very sceptical about it, afraid I'd meet pervie weirdos, but I was pleasantly surprised. I joined a the end of January 2007 adn I got talking to a couple of guys but only met one and he turned out to be the one. I was Josie on the site and he was TIM4U. We met for our first date on 18th February 2007 and we got engaged on Christmas Day 2007. We're getting married on 11th September 2008. Received Oct 20th 2008 Just a bit of feedback! AnnieDreamer and Sunvolt - two members of maybefriends.com last year - are getting married this month! Thanks for helping us find one another! We moved in together 17th April 2007. 31st December 2007 at around mid-night in Monte Carlo he proposed.... On 6th September 2008 at 2pm I married the man of my dreams and my life has just blossomed. Received September 19th 2008 To All at MaybeFriends, Just felt I had to let u know of another wedding as a result of meeting through your site. Having met some 6.5 years ago at a night out, we started dating, moved in together about 2 years later, got engaged, produced a lovely little boy and now in 8 weeks time we're getting married in Italy. Both of us had low self esteem from being hurt in the past and neither of us were expecting to meet our future soulmates but thanks to meeting through the site we are changed people and have found happiness. I just wanted to say thanks for all the work and effort you put! I met a wonderful man on my very first date (his second) and we are now married nearly 8 months! So I'm happy for my profile and his one to be deleted forever. Another friend of my husbands tried the site and he is about to announce his engagement to the girl he met off it. Plus the friend that encouraged me to try it is getting married this September to the person she met through the site. Dear Maybefriends, I was previously signed up to Maybefriends using the nickname Blue_Eyed_Boy. On the 3rd January 2006, I sent a message to another user called MissTickles. She got back to me and we started communicating ;through the site, and we hit it off well straight away. Only problem was, she was in Cork, and I was in Wexford! So it actually took us about 4 months to get round to going on a date but we did and it all went really well. So well in fact, that a week later I was going away for 4 weeks, but I ended up coming back after 2 1/2 so I could see her again sooner!! Things got pretty serious fairly quickly then, and before we knew where we are, I asked her to marry me! We kept this quiet until I could finally get the ring on her finger, which I managed to do the day before New Year's Eve. We are planning to be married in the summer of next year, but we both wanted to contact you to say thank you, because without your site we would never have met, and we are both so happy that we did! Hi there!! Just wanted to send a mail to you to say thanks!! 2 years ago I was single and hoping to meet someone. I had been single for a good while and couldn't seem to meet anyone nice so I decided to give your site a go. I have to say I was sceptical at first because at the time I thought if anyone found out they would think I was desperate!! How and ever I got chatting to a guy and we e-mailed back and forth for 2 or 3 weeks before going out on our 1st date. We got on well on line and we had things in common too. Well what can I say but the rest is history!!! Jeff and I got on like a house on fire and since then we have really fallen in love, last year we bought a house together and last week we got engaged!! I have an 8 year old daughter from a runaway Dad and she gets on fantastically with my fiance and vice versa. As soon as we got engaged she wanted to call him Daddy. There was a day in school she came running to the father of one of her friends in school and she asked him if he'd heard what surprise she got for Christmas. He was expecting her to say a Nintendo DS or something like that. But she said that she got a Daddy. So we're all bursting with happingess. Thanks to Maybefriends. If anyone is unsure about whether to try Maybefriends or not, go for it!!!! You've nothing to lose and so much to gain. It's worth it. Well it certainly was for me.
